Description: SERVICES: MEDICAL GAS AND CYLINDER RENTAL This is a Combined Synopsis solicitation for medical gas and cylinder rental services and will be conducted in accordance FAR Part 13 (FAC 2005-90) as a100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) set aside. The Government in support of the Miami VA Healthcare System has a requirement for medical gas and cylinder rental services. It is the intention of the Government to solicit via Request for Quote (RFQ) VA248-16-Q-1048 NAICS Code: 325120 in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, schedules of the solicitation and award a contract on a competitive basis. The contract resulting from this solicitation shall be a Firm Fixed Price contract. In an effort to meet the green initiative, documents shall be submitted electronically only via email. Each email shall not be more than five (5) megabytes in size. The electronic solicitation is hereby announced on September 16, 2016, the quoter shall be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents, amendments and other documents from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov) without further notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Interested firms must be registered in the SAM database www.sam.gov. All questions or Request for Information (RFI) from industry is due 21 September 2016 and must be submitted to the Contract Specialist via email at: gwendolyn.law@va.gov. All correspondence must be submitted via email only. Receipt by any other means will not be accepted. The Contracting Officer is O'niel Alvarez.
