- SUPPLY CLAUSES SHIP DOCKING CRADLE MATERIALS SOLICITAION STATEMENT OF WORK SHIP CRADLE COMBINED SYSOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcedment constitutes the only solicitaion: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors (Tailored for quotes under FAR part 13) evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR provisions and clauses are attached. The solicitation number is HSCG35-16-Q-6WNBES and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) Provide all listed materials to fabricate one ship dry dock cradle for new Fast response Coast Guard Cutter (FRC) 154 ft. All wide frange beams shall be a continuous length per line item description. No drops or pieces, all black iron pipe ASTM A-52 GR. All steel will be A-36. For full descriptions please see attached solicitation SF-1449. REQUIRE TOTAL STEEL TONAGE FOR SHIPMENT EST. KETCHIKAN, AK. 99901 THIS ACQUISITION IS ISSUED SET-ASIDE 100% SMALL BUSINESS Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR 13.004, Legal Effect of Quatation, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR 12.302 to be consistent with a request for quotations. In accordance with FAR13.004, a quotation is not an offer, and any clauses provision to the contraty is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR 13.994. Where the word "offer/offeror" or a derivative of that word. The associated NAICE code is 331110 and the small business size standard is 1000.
