- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA2860-16-T-0035 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 guidelines. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89 The 11th Contracting Squadron (11 CONS) at Joint Base Andrews, MD intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the procurement of decontamination, response, personal protective, chemical sampling, as well as spill containment equipment. All equipment and ancillary items will be used in order to detect and deter HAZMAT & WMD incidents across the military installation. This requirement will be pursued as a 100% Woman-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113, for which the small business size standard is 750 employees. All responsible sources may submit an offer to be considered by the agency. For detailed information regarding the Government's requirement, please review the attached combined synopsis solicitation. Interested parties capable of providing all identified parts, at the exact quantities specified, shall submit their offer by e-mail to richard.s.wahidi.mil@mail.mil, referencing synopsis number FA2860-16-T-0035, not later than Friday, September 23, 2016 at 12:00PM EST. Questions shall be submitted no later than Monday, September 19, 2016 at 12:00PM EST. Answers to timely submitted questions will be posted in an addendum to the solicitation on 20 September 2016.
