Description

1. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) is soliciting quotes to competitively award a firm, fixed price Purchase Order for a Magnapunch 2.0 punch heavy duty punch machine "Brand Name or Equal". 2. The proposed acquisition is unrestricted with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333318. 3. Brand Name or Equal - This requirement is to procure a brand name or equal Magnapunch 2.0 punch heavy duty punch machine. The Magnapunch 2.0 punch heavy duty punch machine at a minimum shall: provide a heavy duty punch machine that is needed to provide high speed, continuous punches and operate with a foot pedal or trigger switch to accommodate high volume and high speed punching in the copy center. The PB2600 electric comb bind finisher shall have a LED spine-size indicator, incremental adjustable knob for fine-tuning, no-flip spine stopper, angled surface for loading and paper alignment, push-button and foot pedal operation, and must bind oversized documents up to A4 sizes. All items requested include: EQP Magnapunch 2.0 Punch Machine Die Magnapunch 2.0 PB EQP PB2600 Combbind 4. All responsible sources capable of meeting NIEHS' requirement, as stated within the Request for Quotes (RFQ) may submit a quote, which, if received by the response date of this announcement, shall be considered. 5. Prospective sources are reminded that an award can only be made to a Contractor who is registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in accordance with FAR 4.11. 6. Submission of Quotes: Quotes shall be forwarded to Ms. Teresa McCall via email to: teresa.mccall@nih.gov by September 21, 2016, 3:30 PM EDT. Facsimile or hard copies of submissions will not be accepted. 7. Any questions regarding this Solicitation should be directed via e-mail to Ms. Teresa McCall at teresa.mccall@nih.gov. The deadline for the submittal of all questions is 2:00 p.m. on September 20, 2016.
