Description
Qty 8 each of a Tunable, J-Band, Magnetron *PROCUREMENT TYPE The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following: Quantity 8 each of a Tunable, J-Band, Magnetron (P/N: VMU-1934). This Magnetron is part of the Transmitting Set, RADAR; AN/DPT-2C (V), P/N: 1236AS2503. The AN/DPT-2C (V) Transmitting Set produces a high power microwave oscillation, converting potential energy into radio frequency (RF) energy. In accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. This requirement is sole sourced to: CPI COMMUICATIONS & POWER INDUSTRIES, 150 SOHIER ROAD, BEVERLY/MA due to the VMU-1934, J-Band Tunable Magnetron is part of a configuration that is currently installed and already in use. Any firms believing that they can provide a Quote for N68936-16-T-0368 Tunable, J-Band, Magnetrons may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the Tunable, J-Band, Magnetrons without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Written responses shall be submitted by e-mail to the point(s) of contact listed below or mailed to the Contracting Office Address listed below no later than 05 days from this notice date.
