Description
INDUSTRY DAY EXCHANGE NOTICE The Non-Standard Rotary Wing Aircraft Project Management Office (NSRWA PMO) will host an unclassified Industry Day Exchange in Huntsville, AL on held 28 September, 2016, to be held at the Marriott Space and Rocket Center located at 5 Tranquility Base, Huntsville, AL 35805. The Industry day presentation will run from 0800 to 1200 (CST). This exchange will provide industry the opportunity to gain insight into the planned acquisition of Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) services for 27 Armed MD 530F aircraft and two Flight Training Devices (FTDs). This requirement includes field and sustainment level aircraft maintenance, Dari interpreters, the capability to conduct split operations by forward deployment of contractor maintainers to any of four Coalition bases in Afghanistan, aircraft maintenance training, logistics and supply support, and repair of repairables. It is anticipated that the contract resulting from this RFI will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and have a period of performance consisting of one six month base, and two option years, for a maximum of 32 months. This effort is anticipated to be performed entirely OCONUS, in Kabul Afghanistan. These services fall under the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) 488190. The current size standard is $32.5M. This requirement was synopsized on 21 July 2016 and a DRAFT RFP (W58RGZ-16-R-0258) was posted to FedBizOpps on 1 September 2016, along with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), a Document Summary List (DSL), and 17 Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs). ACC-Redstone would like to identify businesses that have experience in all or a part of the requirements described in the above posting.. Please provide a statement as to your company's name and if you have tentative plans to propose on this requirement as a prime, or if you are looking for subcontracting opportunities only. Any changes to this requirement will be posted to FedBizOpps. Additionally, it is requested that interested parties provide a corporate capability statement that summarizes their ability to fulfill the Government's requirements. This statement should also include details regarding the size of the company relative to NAICS 488190. Specifically, the letter should state whether or not the business is a large, small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HUBZone, Veteran-owned, or service-disabled. Interested contractors are requested to review the DRAFT PWS for the CLS Competitive Bridge effort and respond to the contracting point of contact (POC) with any comments, innovative ideas, performance or quality incentives and measurements, best industry practices, or acquisition streamlining that might enhance the PWS. This requirement is not a small business set-aside. It is recommended that small business concerns interested in bidding on this requirement provide written information to indicate their capability to successfully perform and manage all requirements of the magnitude described in the draft PWS. Please have registrations completed and submitted no later than Monday, 26 September 2016, by close-of-business. Attendance should be limited to three representatives per company, but not more than four. Pre-registration is highly recommended.
