Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with incumbent Sterling Medical Corporation for the following services: Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC); Primary Care and Mental Health Care for 4,228 estimated enrolled Veterans; 11/1/2016 - 10/31/2017; Chehalis, WA 98532. NAICS 621498 applies. This sole source contract will prevent a break in service while a new contract finishes the solicitation process. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can handle an influx of an estimated 4,228 Veteran patients for services on 11/1/2016; can adhere to the standards in VA regulations and policy; can fully utilize VA's Computerized Patient Record System; and has licensed staff that are credentialed and privileged by VA Puget Sound Health Care System. Responses must be received no later than 4:30 pm on September 26, 2016. All responses must be emailed to Darlene.Anderson4@va.gov.
