Description
Amendment 1 is to answer the following questions. There are no other changes to this RFP. Q1)Will contractor staff needs to report to the NIH/NINR facilities on a daily or semi-daily basis? If so, how many days per week or days per month? A1) Time commitment will vary however at a minimum eight hours per week on site Q2)Is the Government able to define "local" for the purposes of this procurement in terms of mileage or region? A2) Within 25 miles of the NIH Bethesda campus Q3) Evaluation Criteria states: "Management and Quality Control Adequacy and feasibility to establish and maintain the animal project; including: •Plans to maintain a quality assurance and quality control program •Plans to make adjustments to address unanticipated changes" Can you please clarify the mention of the "animal project"? A3) Project will include animal and human data Q4) SOW estimates the level of effort (LOE) for Task 1 at 342 hours. Do you have a similar estimate for Task 2? A4) Program advised it is difficult to predetermine the number of hours needed for task two (the writing portion) however, it would not be significant and will not cause the contractor to work beyond the predetermined hours on the award. Q5) Is there an incumbent contractor who is currently performing this work? If so, can you provide the contract number? A5) This is a new requirement Q6) In order to generate a responsible and accurate response that provides best value to NINR, would you consider extending the submission deadline by one week? A6) There will be no extension
