Description

Intent to Sole Source: Nanosphere, Inc. Special Notice Number: N0025916N0221 THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Naval Medical Center San Diego anticipates making a sole source award under statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) and FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) (i), only one responsible source, with: Nanosphere, Inc. 4088 Commercial Ave Northbrook, IL 60062-1829 The objective of the sole source award is to procure Verigene Test Kits for use in the government-owned instrument, the Nanosphere Verigene Plus. Items required are 20-005-024 and 20-012-024 Verigene RP Flex Test Cartridges, Extraction Trays and Amplification Trays. The NAICS code for the requirement is 325413. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Information received by 2:00 PM Pacific Time on September 21, 2016 may be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Elizabeth Sanders at elizabeth.n.sanders.civ@mail.mil. The email subject line shall state, "Special Notice Number N0025916N0221" "A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
