- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC) intends to enter into negotiations on a sole-source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Morton Bahamas Limited, Matthew Town, Inagua, Bahamas, for providing Jet A Aviation fuel, Diesel and Gasoline to the USCG Air Station Clearwater's base in Great Inagua. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award a Firm Fixed Price modification to Contract HSCG84-15-C-BB7075 for a 3 month extension. Current contract period of performance expires 30 September 2016. The modification will allow for the continuation of fuel delivery until negotiations are finalized. The follow-on solicitation for these services (HSCG84-17-Q-BB5102) have a start date of 01 January 2017 through 30 September 2017 with four one-year options. The incumbent contractor is onsite and has the equipment, personnel, and resources that will allow continued performance under contract HSCG84-15-C-BB7075 and therefore will not cause a lapse in services. The NAICS Code is 424720. The small business size standard is 200 employees. The period of performance for this modification will be from 01 October 2016 through 31 December 2016. The contract type will be a firm-fixed price modification to the existing contract. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Business sources, able to provide the above listed services may respond to this announcement within 3 days of its publication. Respondents will be required to demonstrate their abilities to support this effort while ensuring their proposed method in their proposal does not have any potential adverse impact upon schedule or price. Interested firms should submit in writing, its name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size, and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the above services. If no responses are received within three (3) days with sufficient information to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with Morton Bahamas Limited, Matthew Town, Inagua, Bahamas.
