Description

This is Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the Solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written Solicitation is attached. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside requirement only qualified offers may submit bids. All Quotes regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the Contract Specialist in writing by e-mail to Johnny.Barton@va.gov no later than 12:00 PM EST, September 29, 2016. The subject line must specify VA244-16-Q-1474 - Air Curtains at the Philadelphia VAMC. Solicitation VA-244-16-Q-1474 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and constitutes the solicitation, a written solicitation is attached. NAICS Code is 238220 and size standard is $15.M. Any firm that does not meet the capability and size standard under this NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. Contract Type: The government anticipates awarding Firm Fixed Price Purchase Award. Award will be made to the lowest price quote which conforms to the requirements within this solicitation. Service Contract Act (SCA) Wage and Determination rules and regulations are applicable to this request and can be accessed at http://www.wdol.gov In order to be considered for a government award, the firm must be registered in SAM @ www.sam.gov. Description of Services: The contractor shall provide labor and all material necessary for replacing two Air Curtains. One serves the double doors from the loading dock to building 2 and the other serves the double doors from the loading dock to the kitchen inside building 2. All service will be completed at the Philadelphia VAMC, 3900 Woodland Ave, Philadelphia Pa. 19104 A site visit is scheduled September 23, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Bldg. 5 (meeting place). Site visit location: Philadelphia VAMC, 3900 Woodland Ave., Philadelphia, Pa 19104. POC: Ahmed Hassan at 215-823-5800 ext.4234. Contact Mr. Hassan to participate in the site visit. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the Contract Specialist in writing by e-mail to Johnny.Barton@va.gov no later than 12:00 PM EST, September 26, 2016. All responses to questions will be incorporated into a written amendment posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov).
