- The Western Area Power Administration (Western), Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) intends to acquire services on a Sole Source basis, for a rebuild of a Marmon-Herrington transfer case from Drive Train Industries, Inc. (DTI), located at 5555 Joliet Street, Denver, CO 80239, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. DTI is the local authorized representative for Weller Truck Parts, who is an authorized distributor for Marmon-Harrington. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency. Capability statements must be received by 12:00 p.m. (MDT) September 23, 2016, and shall include documentation on ability to satisfy the Government's requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Questions concerning this notice may be directed to Carol L.
