Description

Questions and Answers to Sources Sought and Change #1 VA101-16-R-0219 Question: Is this Sources Sought asking for companies to obtain the facilities (lease or purchase), upgrade to VA standards as outpatient clinics, and the VA in turn leases the facilities from the company? (See paragraph 7) Answer: No, the intent is for a contractor to perform lease acquisition support services based on the description within the draft PWS. The focus of the draft PWS is performing services similar to commercial real estate broker services, which are modified to support VA specific lease acquisitions processes complying with GSAM 570 for leasing, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and other applicable federal government regulations to Federal Government lease acquisition processes. This requirement is not for a lease facility, it is for support services for the lease acquisition process during VA's procurement of several leases for facilities. -------- END Question Answer--------- Change #1: Paragraph 7, is revised from: "7. Evidence of capability to obtain financing for a project of this size." To: "7. Evidence of capability to obtain financing or self-finance for the cost of services for up to five projects of this size, through commission paid (75%) 30 days after lease award and (25%) after building space acceptance." -----END Change----
