- Contract/Program Background: It is the Government’s intent to award a sole-source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract, for a quantity of 75 of each ECP Retrofit Kit (300 Retrofit Kits total) for the M160, to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), DOKING D.O.O, located in Zagreb, Croatia. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. Contract/Program Background: It is the Government's intent to award a sole-source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract, for a quantity of 75 of each ECP Retrofit Kit (300 Retrofit Kits total) for the M160, to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), DOKING D.O.O, located in Zagreb, Croatia. The M160 Light Flail Robotic System, commercially known as an MV-4, is a mobile, unmanned, tele-operated flail system that can neutralize antipersonnel mines by destroying or detonating them with its rotating flail head. Designed to survive antipersonnel and antitank mine blasts, the M160 can be tele-operated from within the blast protected Medium Mine Protected Vehicle (MMPV) or from a safe dismounted location. It can also neutralize antipersonnel mines in small areas and footpaths.
