Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego “ Seal Beach Detachment intends to issue a Brand Name Only procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13.5 for CISCO only parts for the Tactical Data Network (TDN) wireless solution for the Naval Expeditionary Combat Command PAC, Pt. Hueneme CA. The proposed contract action is to purchase 10 TDN parts for Tactical Data Network for the Unclassified Tactical Data Network. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only CISCO authorized resellers as implemented under FAR 13.5 in accordance with U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Procurement of the Specific Cisco Hardware Wireless solution is essential to the fielding of Wireless for the TDN. The TDN has been accredited using specific hardware. In order to buy hardware for the TDN, it must first be accredited. Accreditation requires specific Hardware and specific Software versions on that hardware. Using anything other than the specific hardware/software can compromise the accreditation. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail to gloria.quintero@navy.mil. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. Responses are due by September 24, 2016, 12:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time. If no responses are received, FLCSD-Seal Beach will proceed with the sole source award.
