- Special Notice Marine Corps Tactics and Operation Group (MCTOG) Synopsis: This Special Notice is ISSUED for the purpose of helping communicate the Government's requirements to industry for the planned solicitation for the support of the MCTOG. Participation is strictly voluntary and will not affect any company's ability to submit an offer if, or when, a solicitation is released. Program Management Training Systems (PMTRASYS) MCTOG Project Management Team cordially invites 8(a) companies to attend MCTOG to observe the upcoming planning for Tactical Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Intermediate Course (TMIC) 3-16 from 04 throught 06 October 2016 at MCTOG in 29 Palms, CA. Response Instructions: 8(a) companies wanting to participate in this opportunity must submit a reservation request with date and time via email to peter.ohalloran@usmc.mil. PHONE RESERVATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Reservation email shall utilize the title "MCTOG TMIC Reservation". Due to site limitations, a restriction of three persons per company shall be imposed. Reservation email SHALL contain in the body: 1) company name, 2) Full name of proposed attendees (maximum 3 per company), 3) contact info (email and phone) of ALL proposed attendees. Due to security limitations, reservations requested can be submitted until 1200 local time Orlando, 27 September 2016. In addition, attendees SHALL NOT be substituted after closing date/time of reservation requests. Companies other than 8(a) companies will not be allowed to participate. The Marine Corps will verify 8(a) status prior to acceptance of reservation. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. If desired day/time is already requested, the Marine Corps will contact you to provide remaining options. There will be 2 hours of observation time and an hour of question and answers. All questions and answers will be recorded and published. Schedule: 4-Oct 5-Oct 6-Oct 0800-1100 1200-1500 1500-1800 NO CLASSIFIED INFORMATION SHALL BE PROVIDED The preceding opportunity is for planning purposes only and does NOT constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of participation in this announcement. This special announcement constitutes market research under Part 10 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and is not a Request for Proposals (RFP). No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this announcement does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these items or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this announcement, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Logistics: For access to the MCTOG secured compound, all attendees must register by primarily submitting a JPAS request to SMO Code MS3510. To confirm submission contact, the MCTOG point of contact Ms. Michelle Hall, W: 760-830-3624, email: michelle.m.hall@usmc.mil. JPAS will be opened for sign up after confirmation of acceptance of reservation. Further, access to the base will require a valid driver's license or Government -issued photo ID, and current vehicle registration or rental car agreement. All attendees must be preapproved through the above JPAS system in order for MCTOG to prepare sponsorship of base access on the day of this event. Day of Directions: Personnel will enter the main gate at MCAGCC, Twenty-Nine Palms, CA, and proceed to building 1982T1 11th St., Twenty-Nine Palms, CA 92278.
