Description

Vendor Questions Concerns 2 for: VA RFQ #: VA247-16-Q-1220, 2237 #: 619-16-3-490-0132, Wireless Intercom Systems 1) In reference to the above solicitation, is the RFQ for the VS4810 Desktop Wireless Paging Controller only (not a complete system)? Base alone will not work; need complete system, base and transmitter/receivers 2) Also the Intercom Specifications heading includes "Strobe Light System", is that wired or wireless and should that be included in the quote? Strobe should be wireless & should be included in quote 3) What quantity of Wireless Strobe Lights do you require for each system? I'm not knowledgeable on quality wireless strobe lights. In addition to sound, I also want a light signal for the devices. The light does not have to be wireless ands can be attached to the devices. 4) What would be the Strobe Light color for each system (clear, blue, orange, red)? blue 5) Do you require any of these options? VNS2254 - Built-in transmitter for wireless administration and device remote testing. NO VNS2281 - 2nd speaker PA driver for where a second PA speaker is required. NO VNS2252 - Built-in power backup battery for reliable operation during a power failure. NO VNS2284 - Built-in contact closure and line level audio outputs for integration with a local wired PA or fire alarm systems. NO VNS2264 - Ambient noise sensor option for auto sound level adjustment. NO VNS2267 - Intercom station for two-way communication with main controller. YES VNS2268 - Intercom stations for hands-free, two-way communication between with the main controller. YES VNS2258 - PoE power option to utilize network power source.- I need a system that plugs into an standard 120V wall outlet 6) For the Wireless Paging System: Do you require Wireless PA Speakers? NO Do you require Wireless Intercom Stations? YES 7) Are any options or accessories required? Options: VNS2269 Hands-Free Intercom Operation YES VNS2252 Built-In Power Backup Battery NO VNS2254 Built-In Supervision Transmitter with Antenna NO VNS2265 Built-In Receiver for FM Radio Reception NO VNS2281 2nd Speaker PA Driver NO VNS2282 Strobe Light / Siren Wireless Controlled Output NO VNS2286 Two-Way Radio Interface Accessories: NO 6) Accessories: VNS2259 PoE Power Supply with Battery Power supply should be standard plug for 120V outlet VNS2264 Ambient Noise Level Sensor NO 7) Also, can you provide the size and layout of the facility (# of floors/area that the paging system will have to cover)? This may require a paging transmitter, microphone and antenna. If so and FCC License will be needed. Radiology department is on same floor. If license is required then system cannot be used
