- AMENDMENT #A00002 RFI's (Questions and Answers) from Synopsis/Solicitation VA257-16-R-1722: As stated in the Solicitation: All questions must be submitted to dana.brazell@va.gov no later than Wednesday, September 21, 2016 by 12 Noon CST. Be sure to include the RFP number as the subject line. An amendment collectively addressing all questions will be posted as Questions and Answers to the solicitation. "HEREIN IS THE AMENDMENT WITH ANSWERS TO ALL QUESTIONS RECEIVED" ******************************************************************* 1st Q: The requirement requires the offeror to submit a min. of 4 CVs for Physicians. The hours are approximately 2016 per provider. Can the Government please expound on the schedule, shifts, hours, etc. 1st A: Information concerning schedules shifts, hours, etc. ¦ can be found in the terms and conditions of the solicitation - Statement of Work/Performance Work Statement (SOW/PWS) posted to FBO via Amendment A00001 on 9.20.2016. 2nd Q: Extension of Due Date: A requirement of this nature with physicians will usually have a 3-4 week turn-around and in this case it's less than 5 days. Can the Government tell us it you will consider a longer period for the Due Date? We must have time to recruit, screen and vet the Physicians before submitting with our bid to meet the Government's standard? 2nd A: Due to the urgency to provide Primary Care Physicians in the South Texas area, this requirement has a short turn-around time and is anticipated to be awarded before the end of September 2016. Due to procurement administrative lead time needed to review offers, the selection process to determine the best-value, internal VA review time frames, obligation of FY'16 funds, etc. ¦ there is a very short window to make timely award; therefore it is not in the best interest of the government to extend the offer due date for this requirement. 3rd Q: We are a certified WMBE and qualified to bid on this Solicitation, however as this would be the first time with the VA, we will be possibly partnering with a Disabled Veteran's Firm to bid on this together. What documents to you require from both firms either collectively or independently in order for us to proceed? 3RD A: The requirement is for verified total SDVOSB/VOSB set-aside. If you believe that you are qualified to offer on this solicitation and you are not a verified SDVOSB/VOSB, you should review all the clauses found in the solicitation to see if you qualify under a clause exception. If you have any further questions about what documents you need, please consult your local Small Business Advocate for assistance. 4th Q: I just wanted to ask if the SF 1449, Contractor Certification of Immigration and Nationality Act, and other base forms will be attached on a later amendment or is it something we need to generate? 4th A: All these documents that you are requesting were posted to FedBizOpps as Amendment A00001 on 9.20.2016. 5TH Q: Does the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation under solicitation number VA25716R1722 contain requirements similar to a current contract? If possible, please provide the current contract number. Or, is this a new requirement for the government? Another similar question was: Can you please tell me if this is a new requirement? If not, who is the incumbent, and what is the contract number? 5th A: This is not a new requirement however there may be changes from the current contract. Information on the incumbent to include contract number, date of award, obligation amount, etc. is public information and can be found on the Federal Procurement Data System - Next Generation (FPDS-NG) website. This site offers public users unprecedented access to the spending patterns of the Federal government - at no cost. Once you have registered at www.fpds.gov, you will have access to all actions in that have been submitted to FPDSNG from the VA and across the Federal government; or, you can make an official Freedom of Information Act request at www.FOIA.gov. *** END OF RFI'S (Q&A) - No more questions will be received or answered *** * OFFER DUE DATE/TIME IS UNCHANGED FROM: FRIDAY, SEPT. 23RD, 2016 at 12:00 Noon CST * *********************************************************************************************
