Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and qualified supervision necessary to remove and construct approximately 2,300 square feet adjacent to the ground floor, D wing at the Wm. S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Madison, WI. Work includes, but is not limited to: general demolition and construction, interior and exterior alterations, structural steel, masonry, carpentry, roofing, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work, control and communications, utility systems and necessary removal of existing structures as described within project construction documents. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business firms. The solicitation will be issued on or about 7 October 2016 with the bid opening on or about 8 November 2016. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business construction firms. The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $36.5 Million applies. Time for completion is 550 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
