Description

Request for Quotation Aircraft X-Ray crack detection system This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F8A2HM6260AW01 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-89 (15 Aug 2016). This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 325992, PHOTOGRAPHIC FILM, PAPER, PLATE, AND CHEMICAL MANUFACTURING is applicable. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,500 employees. The successful offeror shall provide the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs): CLIN 0001 QTY: 1 The system must have a Spatial Resolution of 25μ, 35μ, 50μ and 100μ operation. It must also have Pixel Pitch of 20 Microns or better (12 lp/mm). Its laser spot size should be 20μ.It must conform to ASTM E2445 and have an all-inclusive warranty (min of 1 year). The system will need to have a downward facing optic (for dust intrusion protection). Its filtration system must be MILSPEC rated filtration system to keep artifacts from entering the scans. The unit must pass both vibration and drop tests allowing it to be used in harsh environments IAW MIL STD 810-4. (End of Provision) 52.212-5 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVE ORDERS--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (DEVIATION 2013-O0019) (JUN 2016) a) Comptroller General Examination of Record. The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of this paragraph (a) if this contract was awarded using other than sealed bid, is in excess of the simplified acquisition threshold, and does not contain the clause at 52.215-2, Audit and Records -- Negotiation. (1) The Comptroller General of the United States, or an authorized representative of the Comptroller General, shall have access to and right to examine any of the Contractor's directly pertinent records involving transactions related to this contract. (2) The Contractor shall make available at its offices at all reasonable times the records, materials, and other evidence for examination, audit, or reproduction, until 3 years after final payment under this contract or for any shorter period specified in FAR Subpart 4.7, Contractor Records Retention, of the other clauses of this contract. If this contract is completely or partially terminated, the records relating to the work terminated shall be made available for 3 years after any resulting final termination settlement.
