Description

This is Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the Solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written Solicitation is attached. This is a Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside requirement only qualified offers may submit bids. Solicitation VA-244-16-Q-1572 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and constitutes the solicitation, a written solicitation is attached. All Quotes regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the Contract Specialist in writing by e-mail to Johnny.Barton@va.gov no later than 1:00 PM EST, September 29, 2016. The subject line must specify VA244-16-Q-1572 - Boiler Tune-Ups at the Wilmington VAMC. NAICS Code is 238220 and size standard is $15.M. Any firm that does not meet the capability and size standard under this NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. Contract Type: The government anticipates awarding Firm Fixed Price Purchase Award. Award will be made to the lowest price quote which conforms to the requirements within this solicitation. The contract will be priced with a base year plus 4 one- year options. Service Contract Act (SCA) Wage and Determination rules and regulations are applicable to this request and can be accessed at http://www.wdol.gov In order to be considered for a government award, the firm must be registered in SAM @ www.sam.gov. Description of Services: Contractor shall provide labor, materials and equipment to do semiannual combustion tune ups on Three (3)-D-34 water tube cleaver Brooks steam boilers and one (1)-CB-250 Fire tube boiler. Two boilers will be tested at a time, two (2) Boilers in the spring and two (2) boilers in the fall- not later than November 15 of the calendar year. A site visit is recommended NLT 09/26/2016. Site location: Wilmington VA Medical Center, 1601 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington DE 19805. POC: Bob Minner at 302-994-2511 ext. 5276. Contact Mr. Minner to schedule a site visit. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the Contract Specialist in writing by e-mail to Johnny.Barton@va.gov no later than 4:00 PM EST, September 27, 2016.
