Description

This is an amendment (VA701-16-Q-0188 A00002) to a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) requires a contractor to provide furniture for the VA's new Monterey facility. Solicitation number VA701-16-Q-0188 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337127 (size standard 500 employees). A Small Business Non-Manufacturing Class waiver applies to this requirement. The delivery date for the furniture is 15 December 2016. The following revisions are being made to this combined synopsis/solicitation: 1)The Government hereby revises the quote due date and time from 19 September 2016, 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), to 26 September 2016, 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST). 2)The Krug Zola Bench (BELO112) upholstery is revised to: Upholstery shall be equal to highest grade product line. Information for the type & color will be provided by the VA after award. 3)The Allermuir Open Chair (CHLO134) upholstery is revised to: Upholstery shall be equal to highest grade product line. Information for the type & color will be provided by the VA after award. 4)Allermuir Pebble (OTTO101) upholstery is revised to: Upholstery shall be equal to highest grade product line. Information for the type & color will be provided by the VA after award. Offerors shall submit their quotes electronically via email to Sandra.Johnson3@va.gov as instructed in the combined synopsis/solicitation. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
