Description
The purpose of amendment no. 0003 dated 9/22/2016 is to incorporate questions and answers as well as to extend the solicitation response time as follows: 1. The following questions and answers are incorporated: QUESTION 1: "Please confirm the POTS lines requirement from the PWS (Support 10 or less POTS) is referring to the quantity of analog ports to be supported by the new PBX, and is the Government requiring 10 or any amount less than 10 be supported?" ANSWER 1: 10 is the drop dead requirement. QUESTION 2: Can the Govt provide the exact amount and type of analog, T1 and/or PRI trunks currently providing service at MARFORRES Tampa?" ANSWER 2: The outside access is provided by LOOP start lines, approximately 8 lines. If the Vendor receives the contract as it states in the PWS, CTR is responsible to work with the local LEC. QUESTION 3: "Please confirm the Loop Start line requirements from the PWS (Support 10 LOOP start Lines) are the only analog trunks/lines supporting MARFORRES Tampa?" ANSWER 3: YES QUESTION 4: "here is a requirement to provide the gear and capability for 2 Conference rooms with functionality similar to that of an Avaya B159 conference bridge system however, there is no mention of conference bridge or session or port sizing. Can the Government please provide the specific port/session counts required for the 2 conference bridge systems?" ANSWER 4: There is no mention because it isn't part of the requirement. Conference "Bridge is provided elsewhere" through a third part vendor. QUESTION 5: "The PWS states (75 1416 Avaya Digital Telephones This quantity is for future expansion.). This requirement calls out phones for future expansion (spares) however, there is no mention of digital phone sets currently in use. BBNS assumes this count of 75 phones to be currently in use and needing to be replaced as part of the upgrade to active users. Can the Government confirm these Qty. 75 digital phones are for active users to be replaced and licensing for the system to be consistent with these 75 digital end sets?" ANSWER 5: Contractor shall provide 75 phones (End Devices) which means 75 Licenses; some of the phones will not be put on line as they are not needed at this time. 2. The solicitation response time is hereby extended through 26SEP2016 at 12:00PM CDT. 3. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
