- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for DTRA Window Coverings. The work shall include the following requirements listed in the specific requirements; A.Building 20363, 20363, 20364 and 20369 a.Measure all windows b.Purchase new mini blinds as per the measurements. c.Remove and dispose of existing mini blinds and hardware d.Patch and Paint holes from old blinds e.Install new approved mini blinds and hardware f.Repair any damages that may have occurred during the removal or installation of the new mini blinds B.Replacement Blinds: a.The contractor will provide 20 replacement blinds to DTRA at the completion of the project. The replacement blinds will be of the same make, model and color as the blinds that are being installed. The blinds will be for the most common size utilized in the project. (Rough count is 880). C.Mini Blinds Specifications: a.1"-6 Gage Aluminum slats. b.String operation Up/Down. c.Rod Operation Open/Close, Rods shall be long enough to reach from floor level. d.Color on head Rail and on both sides of vanes/slats must match. e.Lengths of blinds are no to extend below the window still when fully extended. f.There shall be no space larger than ½" between each blind or the blinds and a wall or sill. g.All spacing shall be in line with all window frames.
