THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - The Solicitation is not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has a future requirement for Cytogenetics Testing Laboratory Services at the Iowa City VA Health CARE System located in Iowa City, IA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621511 (Medical Laboratories) (Size Standard: $32.5 million). The need is for this service to be performed within one hour for stability and diagnostic reasons.. The Government contemplates awarding a fixed price IDIQ contract. Market research is being conducted to identify possible interested and capable sources. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, may be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Interested parties should download and complete the market research questionnaire. The response end date for the market research questionnaire is September 28, 2016.
