Description
This is a Sources Sought/Market Research synopsis. The Alexandria VA Medical Center Contracting office is performing market research to ascertain whether there are potential sources and their business size classification (HUB-Zone, 8(a), Small Business, Small Disadvantage Business, Women Owned Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, or Veteran Owned Business) relative to NAICS Code 325412. The Medical Center is particularly interested in identifying Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and their capability. The Medical Center is seeking potential sources to provide and deliver radiopharmaceuticals to the VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System at two locations. The locations are as follow: (1) Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, Biloxi, MS 39531 and (2) Nuclear Medicine Service Pensacola, FL 32507. Vendor must deliver items for emergent (non-scheduled) doses within 120 minutes. This may occur during normal working hours, after hours, week-ends, and holidays. Vendor must be able to start performance on 1 January 2017. NOTE: The 'non-High Enriched Uranium (HEU)' Tc99M dose is not mandated by the Department of Veterans Affairs. However, respondents capable of providing the non-HEU Tc99m dose will receive favorable consideration during solicitation and evaluation phase. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. This is not a solicitation for proposals or quotes. A solicitation will issued at a later date and time. All information submitted in response to this source sought notice is considered voluntary. Interested and capable respondents are requested to provide: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number, geographical location, business size and number of employees. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to Lonest Bonton, Contracting Officer at e-mail address: lonest.bonton@va.gov. A telephone response will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than September 30, 2016.
