- Combined Synopsis/Soliciation: AG-82D7-S-16-0019 Continental Divide National Scenic Trail Restoration As outlined within the FedBizOpps Solicitation: AG-82D7-S-16-0019, the National Forests is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail - Prospector Section delivered IAW the Statement of Work and attached Maps. The solicitation for this project is only available through the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. Continental Divide National Scenic Trail Restoration IDIQ - Contract located in the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre & Gunnison National Forest Gunnison Ranger District CLARIFICATION OF WORK: (added 09/22/2016) Project shall be for construction of 38,614 lineal feet of trail adjacent to and within the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness area on the Gunnison District of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre & Gunnison National Forest. Project work includes Mobilization, Clearing and Grubbing, Excavation and Embankment, Talus and Rubble Rock thread sections, Construction of Turnpike, Switchbacks, Log Barriers, Low Water Stream Ford and Gully Xing, Retaining walls, Rock Culverts, Ditches to Drain, Rock Waterbars, Installation of Sign Post, Trail Marker Post and Rock Cairns, Trail Restoration,; All work associated with trail designed for Pack and Saddle use as well as Pedestrian Use as described in the Statement of Work under each Task order. Project is within the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness, therefore motorized and mechanized equipment is prohibited.
