Description
Request for Information (RFI) Object Detection Analytics DUE: 07 October 2016 The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic, Solutions in Identity Management (SIM) Integrated Product Team (IPT) is seeking information on object detection analytics. Commercial off the-shelf (COTS) products and products available with 6 months will be considered. Once eligible products have been identified, additional information will be requested at a later date. The Dragon Eye Video Intelligence Program, which falls under the SIM IPT, is investigating if any company has or is currently developing object detection analytics. The analytic must detect the following objects: people, cars, trucks, bicycles, motorcycles, radio/cell towers, bridges, and water towers. Review of this information is being performed for the Dragon Eye Video Intelligence Program and the SIM IPT, which aims to conduct objective comparative assessments and validations of equipment and products and provide those results to the biometrics community of interest. All information received will be treated as public knowledge and may be used in Dragon Eye Program documentation; therefore, vendors should not submit proprietary information in response to this RFI. Specific information sought includes: 1. Company information, including name, address, and website; 2. Whether the company is a manufacturer or distributor; 3. A point of contact for follow-up information, and the point of contacts phone number and e-mail address; and 4. Product name and model as well as a brief description, including the following information: a. Objects currently able to detect and/or objects anticipated to be detected. b. Software language(s) in which the analytic is written. c. Estimated time for analytic to detect objects within an image and/or video. d. Current availability or anticipated date of availability. The submitted information will be evaluated for inclusion in SIM IPT. If a SIM IPT project on this software analytic is executed, the selection will be based upon a number of factors. Consequently, follow-up requests for feedback should not be made through the Federal Business Opportunities posting agency. Vendors will be contacted following submission for more detailed product information. Vendor provided information may be reformatted for publication in Dragon Eye documents.
