Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs, NCO20, Boise Veteran Affairs Medical Center in accordance with FAR 8.405-6, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Laboratory Corporation of America for the following services: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, management, supplies, and facilities necessary to provide Reference Lab Testing and Courier Services. This service shall include pre-analytic processing as defined in its laboratory manual; analysis, reporting of analytical results, interpretation and consultation regarding selection, collection, transportation, result interpretation and the pickup of specimens and transport of specimens to its laboratory. All Reference Laboratory Testing shall be provided in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, laws, and ordinances, and in accordance with the specifications outlined for accreditation certification if applicable, patient specimen testing for the specific range of referral testing within their capability. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can provide this service. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 PM PDT on 27 September 2016. All responses must be emailed to crystal.parris@va.gov.
