- Description
- The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Administration on Children, Youth and Families (ACYF) intends to make a sole source award to Rapid Results Institutes Inc. The Rapid Results Institute (the Institute) pioneered the use of the "100-day challenge" to help communities around the world solve tough and complex problems. Importantly, even though the principles underlying this "Rapid Results" evolve gradually, the choreography of the 100-day journeys that the Institute creates for teams and leaders is adapted based on (a) the unique problems that the communities are focused on, and (b) the specific context of each community. The Administration on Children, Youth, and Families (ACYF) is dedicated to providing social services that promote the positive growth and development of children, youth, and their families. This includes addressing the unique needs of homeless youth by providing services and shelter. Additionally, the ACYF Children's Bureau focuses on improving the lives of children and families through programs that reduce child abuse and neglect, increase the number of adoptions, and strengthen foster care. ACYF provides technical assistance to child welfare agencies and communities in order to address youth needs, including housing stability prior to foster care placement, during foster care, and after youth age-out of foster care. This award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Requisition (FAR)6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive orders. However, all responsible sources will submit a Capability Statement within three (3) calendar days after the publication which shall be considered by the agency. Responses received after the response date or without the required information may not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete as a result of information received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The projected award date is September 2016.
