- This synopsis notice is for Dell servers and associated hardware to be used in the NAVFAC Southeast Command Information Office (CIO) virtual test environment. The proposed contract action includes the following equipment: Two (2) Dell PowerEdge R730 Servers (210-ACXU); Six (6) Dell Latitude E5570 XCTOG (210-AFUE) Laptops; Five (5) Dell Latitude 5414 BASE XCTO (210-AJRK) Laptops; One (1) Open Market - Dell SmartUPS 5000VA 208V - Rack/Tower (A8572199) non-TAA; and all associated software and peripherals. The procuring contracting office is NAVFAC Southeast, Bldg. 903, P.O. Box 30, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL 32212. The primary point of contact is Cari Fiebach, Contract Specialist, (904) 542-5117. The proposed solicitation number is N69450-16-Q-2110. The proposed contract type is a firm-fixed-price purchase order that will be procured using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The primary NAICS Code for this procurement is 334111 and the annual small business size standard is 1,250 employees. The delivery date is anticipated to be 30 days after the date of purchase order award. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. This contract action is for equipment for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Dell Marketing L.P. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) as the only source reasonably available. This equipment is required for use in the virtual test environment for the Platform Enclave that has been developed to monitor, patch and assess the security posture of the Industrial Control Systems within the NAVFAC SE area of responsibility (AOR). The test lab hardware must be compatible in all aspects with the existing hardware and configurations currently in use in the production environment in offices throughout the AOR, which is Dell equipment. The test environment must be the same type of Dell hardware to effectively support the production environment.
