CANCELLATION NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is N00244-16-T-0274 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-90. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332999 with a small business size standard of 750.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit quotes.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2016-09-06 11:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Port Hueneme, CA 93043 The FLC - San Diego requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: New Commercial Grade 100,000 lb. Loading Ramp S-10012040L The government requires the construction and delivery of a steel loading ramp with a loaded weight capacity capable of supporting 100,000 lbs. The loading ramp must have the capability to support operations up to 50 tons and have a mechanism to adjust the height from 42 inches to 56 inches. Ramp must be constructed of steel supports with a lengthwise beam design, steel grated ramp surface, and have fork pockets in order to provide mobility with a forklift. This loading ramp must be constructed of steel and have a lengthwise beam design to provide a minimum loading capacity of 100,000 lbs. Ramp must be a minimum of 120 inches total width, incorporate a loading surface of 115 inches and have a travel surface constructed of serrated steel grating. Overall length shall be 40 feet with a 30 foot incline and a 10 foot level off to provide adequate surface for equipment to roll off railroad cars and a long enough to provide a level surface for forklifts to load pallets and other material into 53 foot box trailers. Ramp must provide the capability to support 100,000 pounds, it shall also include a manual hand crank on the front legs to provide an adjustable height range from 42 inches to 56 inches in height. A hinged leveling plate shall be installed to provide a loading surface for entrance of material handling equipment into and out of various types of trailers. The ramp shall include the installation of 6 inch safety curbs to prevent forklift tires from rolling off the edges of the ramp and safety chains to attach the trailer that is being unloaded/loaded to provide a good anchor point. Fork pockets shall be installed and be capable of accepting forks that are 9 1/2 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches high to allow for mobility using a heavy forklift. The ramp shall be painted with a silver loading surface, blue sides, and black support beams., 1, EA; LI 002: Shipping Charge. Contractor shall be responsible for all shipping, loading and delivery charges. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to assure that any commercial truck drivers are fully licensed according to state and federal laws. It shall also be the contractor's responsibility to arrange for access to Naval Base Ventura County and assure that any delivery driver is a US citizen.
