- General Information Document type: Sources Sought Notice - AMENDED Solicitation Number: Posted date: September 26, 2016 Original response date: October 5, 2016 Classification code: R - professional, administrative, and management support services NAICS: 541330 Contracting Office Address Department of Veterans Affairs, Attn: Resident Engineers Office (T-601A), 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304 Description The Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM) is seeking Small Business Construction Management firms to provide Construction Management (CM) Services whereby the Construction Manager will perform as an Agency Construction Manager for CFM Palo Alto. The CM shall furnish all the necessary personnel, materials, services, office and all incidentals necessary to perform CM Services for all CFM Major Construction Projects constructed for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (PAHCS), Palo Alto, CA. These projects will consist of the following but shall not be limited to the new construction of a Research and VMU ($95,207,000.00), Radiology Consolidation /Parking Structure2/Major Roads and Utilities ($102,305,920.00), Recreational Therapy building ($19,882.534.00) and PAHCS Capital Asset Improvements Phase 1 ($98,753,929.00) which includes the Polytrauma and Blind Rehabilitation Building, Parking Structure 1, Building 48 and Building 2C Demo. The CM firm must be classified under one or more of the following small business programs: (1) Service Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); (2) Veteran-owned Small Business (VOSB); (3) Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB); (4) Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB); (5) Section 8(a) and/or (6) HubZone. Firms interested in this project must have 5 years experience as a CM with at least three (3) projects of similar size and scope. A single contractor is being sought. This is not a request for proposal. NO solicitation exists; therefore, do NOT request for a solicitation The Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue an RFP for this project. Firms interested in the providing CM services shall include the following information: 1. Company name and if you have a GSA Schedule; 2. Address, 3. Point of Contact; 4. Phone number and email address; 5. Business size determination and qualifying small business status; 6. Certification of Small Business status, DUNS and TIN Number; 7. Provide construction management experience of similar projects in size and complexity. Small business concerns failing to respond to this ad will not be precluded from responding to the solicitation. NOTE: If this project is solicited as full and open competition and in order to mitigate adverse effects to the small business community.
