Description

RECOVERY - The Social Security Administration (SSA) will fund the proposed action in whole via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 (PUB. L. 111-5)(RECOVERY ACT). THE AGENCY PROVIDES THIS NOTICE "FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY." The proposed action is only available to one of SSA's existing Information Technology Support Services Contractor (ITSSC), Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, under a pre-existing agency-wide Indefinite-delivery, Indefinite-quantity Contract, Number SS00-10-60082. SSA intends to issue a time-and-material task order via Task Order 33 for services related to Technical Area 1 (Application and Business Planning, Analysis, and Requirements) within the contract. SSA anticipates issuing a time-and-materials Task Order (i.e. 0033) to the contractor under the ITSSC contract, following FAR 12.207 and the ordering procedures of FAR 16.505. The task order is anticipated to be issued on or before September 29, 2016, and have a 1-year period of performance from September 29, 2016 through September 28, 2017.
