- USAFA Band Venue Sources Sought Notice Draft USAFA Band Venue PWS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE 1.0 Requirement: USAF Academy Band 1.1 Please see the USAFA Band Venue Draft PWS (Attachment 1) 1.2 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is anticipated to be 711320, Promoters of Performing Arts, Sports, & Similar Events with Facilities. 1.3 All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. 2.0 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. 2.1 All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. 2.2 Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought. 2.3 All costs associated with responding to this SOURCES SOUGHT will be solely at the responding party's expense. 2.4 All information received in response to this SOURCES SOUGHT that is marked PROPRIETARY will be handled accordingly. 2.5 The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly identified. 2.6 Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. 2.7 Proprietary information or trade secrets should be clearly identified. Responses will not be returned. 3.0 The 21st Contracting Squadron is searching for vendors that can fulfill a requirement to support the United States Air Force Academy Band in the Colorado Springs area for non-personal services to include lease/rental of all facilities, labor, equipment and materials to host USAF Academy Band concerts in the Colorado Springs, CO, as outlined in Attachment 1, Performance Work Statement. 3.1 Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement. Interested parties are requested to address the questions in the attached Market Research Questionnaire. 3.2 Future information about this acquisition, including issuance of a solicitation and/or applicable amendments, will be issued through FedBizOpps. Interested parties are responsible for ensuring they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. 　 4.0 Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract or agreement. 4.1 The Air Force will not be obligated to pursue any particular acquisition alternative as a result of this RFI. 4.2 Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if one is issued. 4.3 Only written communication via email with the contracting activity is authorized and no communication with the requiring activity is authorized. 4.4 Telephone responses will not be accepted. 4.5 Please send responses to include the Sources Sought Questionnaire (Attachment 2) and any questions via email with a subject heading of "USAFA Band Performance Venue" to: joseph.williams.69@us.af.mil and 21cons.lgcbb@us.af.mil. 4.6 Responses must be received by Friday, 30 September 2016, 0900 MST.
