- ****This pre-solicitation Notice is extended until October 3, 2016*** This is a Pre-solicitation Notice of the Government's intent to issue a solicitation for the construction of one warehouse in Guaymaral, Bogota, Colombia. The order of magnitude for this requirement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The estimated period of performance is 180 calendar days. This acquisition will be issued under full and open procedures. The warehouse will have a length of 20.40 m, a width of 20.10 m, and total height of 11.14 m above finish floor; the structural system chosen for this building corresponds to a Reinforced Concrete Frames (Columns and beams). The lightweight roof system is supported by purlins which are supported over steel trusses; these trusses are supported over concrete columns. The foundation of the building consists in concrete piles and footings. Also this facility shall have electrical, hydraulic and sewage utilities and internal installations, and doors, locks, air conditioning, sanitary fittings, and finishes as indicated in the attached drawings. The building shall comply with the current standards of the Colombian Seismic Resistance Code (NSR Standard, 10). The solicitation is expected to be posted in October, 2016 and available for 30 days - reference SAQMMA-16-R-0583. Proposal response time and submittal will be specified at the time the solicitation is posted. A pre-proposal conference and/or site visit(s) will be scheduled and included in the solicitation. Award of a Firm-fixed price construction type contract is anticipated within 60 days of proposal receipt.
