American Sign Language Interpreting Services STATEMENT OF WORK General Procedure (a)Contractor must provide for the interpretation of spoken English to hearing impaired employees using American Sign Language at the Charles George Veterans Administration Medical Center (CGVAMC) facility, located in Asheville, North Carolina (b)Contractor must provide for the interpretation of American Sign Language from hearing impaired employees to spoken English at the Charles George Veterans Administration Medical Center (CGVAMC) facility, located in Asheville, North Carolina. (c)Contractor may be scheduled on a regular basis for staff meetings within the Health Administration Services, or on an ad hoc basis for special meetings involving any hearing impaired employees. This may include but is not limited to generalized staff communications, technical training, non-technical training, or personal one on one meetings between an English speaking supervisor and the hearing impaired staff member.
