Description

O'BRIEN SSA BARRIER WALL SITE VISIT RFI'S AND ANSWERS 1) Please confirm that all furniture and computer equipment will be moved by others on the 4th floor. Answer: Summary Section 011000; para. 1.4.1 - Relocation Moving Services indicates Contractor requirements for moving & installing all existing FF&E. The Existing FFE Inventory Attachment identifies the SSA-owned FF&E with Action to either Relocate or Dispose. 2) Will the temporary removal of exterior windows be possible for abatement work? Answer: The windows at O'Brien cannot be removed. They are sealed shut. Glazing at the window can be removed and replaced in kind. 3) What is the height from the floor to the deck in the spaces? Answer: "Floor to Floor Dimension is: 13'-6" with a 5-1/2" thick floor slab/deck" 4) Is there spray of fireproofing in the spaces? And if so has it been tested? Answer: Sprayed-on fireproofing in the building has been tested for asbestos and no asbestos has been found. 5) The drawings (ex: AE111) General Floor Plan Notes #1 states that office furniture and equipment to be by contractor. Please confirm there is no furniture needed under our scope of work. Answer: Contractor is only responsible for moving & installing all existing FF&E as indicated and called out in Section 011000. The Existing FFE Inventory Attachment identifies the SSA-owned FF&E with Action to either Relocate or Dispose."
