- Visit Notification Form - MANDATORY Title: Collective Protection Filter Production - Industry Day Audience: Industry Representatives and DoD Civilians When: 3 November 2016, 0800-1500 Where: Pine Bluff Arsenal Abstract: Over the past ten years, changes in demand and policy have altered collective protection filter requirements and the acquisition approach. Recent requests for proposal and cancelled solicitations from various DoD entities have caused confusion on the short and long term DoD goals associated with collective protection filter sustainment and production. The Collective Protection Filter Production Industry Day will outline the known causes for changes in demand, the current efforts to create a stable production profile, and the short and long term goals for collective protection filter portfolio production through potential Public Private Partnerships. Who should attend? Vendors who are interested in DoD collective protection chemical biological filter design, production, and production goals. Industry Day Goals: • Communicate past demand profile for collective protection filters • Communicate current demand profile for collective protection filters • Identify high level Government Acquisition Strategy for Collective Protection Filter Sustainment • Identify Government constraints associated with Collective Protection Filter acquisition • Identify Government objectives associated with Collective Protection Filter acquisition • Discuss industry incentives for potential public private partnership opportunities • Discuss industry constraints for potential public private partnership opportunities • Identify Pine Bluff Arsenal collective protection filter production capabilities • Incorporate Industry feedback into future collective protection filter acquisition Agenda: • Welcome and Schedule (0800) • Introduction to Collective Protection Filters and Demand Profiles (0815) o Portfolio o Historical Demand o Current Demand • Introduction to Pine Bluff Arsenal and Public Private Partnerships (0900) • Government Constraints and Objectives (0930) • Tour A: Large Filter Production Capabilities (0945) • Tour B: Machine Shop Capabilities (1030) • Tour C: Testing & Surveillance Capabilities (1115) • Lunch (1200) • Discussion (1300) o Sustainment Strategy - Theoretical Scenario o Potential industry incentives and interest areas o Potential industry constraints and roadblocks • Summary and Way Ahead (1430) • Depart (1500) Respondents: • A maximum of two representatives will be allowed from each company. • Names and citizenship of representatives must be provided by October 17th. • Non-US citizens will be contacted for additional information and require a minimum of two weeks lead time for attendance approval. • Visitors will be required to complete the attached form (Visit Notification Form 190-21) in order to attend at this facility.
