Description

This synopsis is provided as required by FAR 8.402(f)(1) for administrative convenience, ordering activity Contracting Officer may add items not on the Federal Supply Schedule (also referred to as open market items) to a Federal Supply Schedule blanket purchase agreement or an individual task order under certain conditions. 1) the ad-on must comply with all publicizing and competition requirements of the FAR. In the interest of convenience, the Department of Veterans Affairs has requested quotes via GSA eBuy (ref RFQ VA240C-16-Q-0018) for Olympus Laryngo Scopes and components. The solicitation is advertised as Brand Name or Equal, and there currently are not any CV-170 all-in-one hd video systems or LMD-2110MD/OL 21.5" HD Widescreen Medica or equal offered through a Federal Supply Service Contract for purchase. Therefore, for administrative convenience, the Department of Veterans Affairs is adding Product Numbers CV-170 and LMD-2110MD/OL (or Equal) as open market Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) to its Federal Supply Schedule RFQ. Accordingly, this synopsis satisfies the regulations specified in FAR Subpart 8.402(f). Additional clauses apply to the open market CLIN as specified in the RFQ. The solicitation for this requirement is located under RFQ VA240C-16-Q-0018 via GSA eBuy (https://www.ebuy.gsa.gov). Vendors interested in this requirement are encouraged to respond in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in RFQ VA240C-16-Q-0018 available on GSA eBuy. The response due date/local time is Friday, September 12, 2016 at 1:00PM CT.
