- This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) intends to solicits a proposal and enter into a contract with CAMRIS International, Bethesda, MD. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U. S. C. 2304(c)(1) per FAR 6.302-1(c). The NAICS code for this 541990. Naval Health Research Center requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with System for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. For additional information and to register to SAM, please access the following website https://www.sam.gov/. Description: • Hiring a Study Coordinator to manage the compensation and project involvement of Liberian Hospital/Clinic study site personnel and to perform general project coordination and liaison services with other project collaborators. • Utilize Study Coordinator support to perform basic NAMRU-3 supplied Institutional Research Board(IRB) training, as well as general management and supervision of collaborating site enrollment staff involvement comprised of Liberian national personnel during site visits to obtain primary data for laboratory analysis on the incidence of Acute Febrile Illness. • Utilize Study Coordinator support to manage the meta-data generated by the enrollment sites for safe keeping and transmission to LIBR and NAMRU-3. • Utilize Study Coordinator support to perform travel to the Liberian Institute for Biomedical Research(LIBR) campus, the Armed Forces of Liberia Camp EBK, the greater Monrovia area, and the (3) hospital sites in Lofa and Bong Counties, Liberia to liaise between local hospital/clinic staff at the Kolahun and Foya Regional Hospitals in Lofa County, the Phebe Hospital in Bong County, and the Liberian Institute for Biomedical Research/NAMRU-3(the Study Primary Investigators). • Utilize Study Coordinator support to assist in the generation of data products for publication during performance and upon completion of the project.
