Description

The Charleston VA Police Department requires the wear of ballistic vests while Officers are on duty. The vests are designed to protect vital organs from small arms fire. Vests/panels typically expired after (5) years of use and must be replaced upon expiration to ensure the ballistic protection is not deteriorated. The Charleston Veterans Affairs Police are requesting the replacement of (10) ballistic vests/panels to replace the expired vests/panels that are currently in service. Each set of ballistic panels must come with an interior and exterior carrier.
