- This is a Sources Sought only. NO award will be generated from the notice. The U.S. General Services Administration, Public Building Service, is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support and provide an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) micro construction contract for various repairs and alterations to the Government owned and leased facilities located throughout Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Camden County, New Jersey; Burlington County, New Jersey; The City of Trenton, New Jersey; Kent County, Delaware, and New Castle County, Delaware. The work to be performed would include, but is not limited to: general office renovation, interior construction and building exterior repair, replacement and alteration work; wall partition construction, modification and alteration of floor and wall mounted telephone, signal, and power outlets to include the modification of associated conduit, surface mounted raceway, and various under floor duct systems; installation of new and the alteration of existing power panels; carpet and carpet tile installation; painting; HVAC duct work modification and repair; door, door frame, and door set hardware installation; installation of various wall coverings and draperies; communications cabling; grid ceiling and lighting installation and modification; modification of existing building fire sprinkler systems; plastering and plaster repair work; sidewalk repair /replacement, asphalt / concrete paving ; alterations including but not limited to electrical, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, mechanical, architectural, landscaping, storm drainage, exterior restoration, waterproofing, repointing, cleaning, sealing, earthwork, miscellaneous drainage structures such as culverts and headwalls, pavement repair and construction and other miscellaneous minor civil work items; Roofing involving installation, repair and alteration, and removal of all types; and paving relevant to property and roads owned, leased or otherwise controlled by GSA, or other Federal authorized agencies; and other such related work as noted throughout this package, and which is specifically listed on the task order and job drawings. Experience in Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for Commercial and Institutional Building Construction using line items is considered an asset. Contractors should have experience in providing construction for projects with a value below $50,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code to be assigned to this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with an associated small business size standard of $36.5 million. Interested parties should provide the following information to Sam Bohne at Samantha.bohne@gsa.gov by COB 2 p.m., 10/11/2016. Please provide construction experience in fully occupied office facilities by providing a list of three successful projects completed within the past three years, similar in dollar value (less than $50,000). Please indicate if any of these projects are for the Federal Government. Projects should of a value less than $50,000, similar in nature, and similar working conditions as those anticipated in this contract. Experience with managing multiple, simultaneous projects is considered an asset. Please provide the following information for each of the three projects: Ø Name and Location of Project Ø Contractor DUNS Ø Socio-economic small business category Ø Description of Project and indicate if the work was for the Federal Government Ø Identify if project was a task order off of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) or Base IDIQ contract Ø Project Start/Completion Dates Ø Construction Cost at Award and Final Construction Cost at Completion Ø A brief description of the amount and type of work the firm performed as primary contractor versus the percentage of the work accomplish by a subcontractor. Ø An explanation of Project Management techniques and Quality Control measures that were used on the project. Ø Owner reference for these projects which includes Point of Contact’s name, address, phone number and email address. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, including type of small business set-aside. NO LARGE businesses need to respond to this notice.
