- General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: The United States Government currently occupies 67,951 rentable square feet fully serviced in Durham, North Carolina. The General Services Administration (GSA) plans to negotiate a succeeding lease for 67,951 rentable square feet based on economic, mission, and other factors. The Government will relocate only if consideration of economic and other factors is supportive. Other factors include, but are not limited to the following: the cost of relocation, tenant improvements, relocation or replacement of communications, and quality of space. State: NC City: Durham Delineated Area: City Limits of Durham Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 62,532 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 62,532 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 280 Parking Spaces (Surface): 280 Parking Spaces (Structured): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: 15 years Firm Term: 10 years Option Term: n/a Additional Requirements: TBD Action : Choose whether or not a fully serviced lease is required. Also choose 100 year floodplain unless requirement is identified by agency as a critical action. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. Action : for fbo postings, insert the following language only for potential sole source succeeding lease actions. Delete for procurement summary page. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Durham, NC that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government, will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and no -productive agency downtime.
