Description

Sole Source Justification N00421-16-T-0624 Solicitation Solicitation N00421-16-T-0624 is issued as an intent to sole source. The Government under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for FAR Part 13 intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis for (4) Antenna Control input/output (ACIO) Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA's) with Sierra Nevada Corporation, SNC, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b). SNC is the original equipment manufacturer and maintains proprietary rights to technical data required to manufacture the required equipment. A delay in this antenna operation could cause flight risk to carrier aircrafts. Offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov. The Government intends to award this on a sole source basis. All interested parties MUST submit their capabilities and a quote to christina.e.simpson@navy.mil no later than 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time 08 October 2016. The Government will make a decision to consider other offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract based upon response to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. All other information is in the attached RFQ.
