- The Library of Congress intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) on or about October 5, 2016 for the digital transfer of audio recordings on cassette and CD in keeping with federal agency digitization guidelines on behalf of FEDLINK customer, Library of Congress Veterans History Project. Digital content is to be output onto hard drives using the BagIt file packaging format. Deliverables include master files, derivative files, and descriptive, administrative, preservation, and technical metadata. FEDLINK services are used by federal libraries and information centers worldwide. Written responses should include prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability.
