Description

Notice of Intent for Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific (Provisional) at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii intends to award a firm fixed-price, non-personal services contract for accreditation and assessment services at Tripler Army Medical Center, ensuring the institution demonstrates adherence to the standards outlined in the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements, Common Program Requirements and Residency Specific Requirements, along with meeting all applicable local and national regulations. This requirement is for a period of performance from 1 January 2017 - 31 December 2017 (Base and four (4) one-year option periods). The proposed acquisition is intended as a sole source to the American Association of Blood Banks, Inc., as the AABB is the only accrediting organization that offers accreditation of transfusion and blood donor services exclusively. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The NAICS code of this procurement is 813920 and the size standard is $15 M.
