Sources Sought FA4897-17-BPA-0001 Title: Flame Holder Repair Blanket Purchase Agreement Classification Code: J - Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment NAICS: 488190 - Other Support Activities for Air Transportation Is this a Recovery and Reinvestment Act Action? No Response Date: 12 October 2016 Primary POC: Dawn Graham This is a Sources Sought Notice in accordance with FAR Part 10, Market Research. This is for planning purposes only to assist in determining if this effort can be obtained competitively and/or as a total Small Business Set-Aside. There is no solicitation available at this time. The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various business concerns that might be interested to compete. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include: 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned Small Business concerns. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if capable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized and posted on the FedBizOpps website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor that site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. This acquisition is for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), for up to a five year period. DESCRIPTION: The 366th Contracting Squadron at Mountain Home AFB is seeking potential sources interested in providing all management, transportation, labor, parts, materials, individual tools and equipment necessary to repair F100-PW-020 and F100-PW-029 Flame Holders, National Stock Numbers (NSN) 2840-01-309-4147 and 2840-01-326-4066, respectively. OBJECTIVE: Mountain Home AFB requires: 1. Company must be certified by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) to repair the: a. F100-PW-020 Flame Holder, NSN 2840-01-309-4147, part number 4075497. b. F100-PW-029 Flame Holder, NSN 2840-01-326-4066; part number 407119. 2. Repairs must be in accordance with (IAW) AFI 21-123 (REF: Paragraphs 5.4.2 and 4.8.1. 3. Repair of the F100-PW-020 Flame Holder shall be IAW Technical Order (TO) 2J-56-05 WP 621 00, 2-1-111, and approved by F100 Systems Engineering, AFLCMC/LPSEA2, Tinker AFB, OK. 4. Repair of the F100-PW-029 shall be IAW TO 2J-F100-46-5 WP 523 01, 2-1-111, and approved by F100 Systems Engineering, AFLCMC/LPSEA2, Tinker AFB, OK. 5. Work must be approved by the DCMA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this effort is 488190 - Other Support Activities for Air Transportation with a size standard of $32.5 M. INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS: Respondents must include the following information within their statement of capability packages. Capability packages shall not exceed 2 single-sided pages in length; a. Company Information: Your Company's name, address, point of contact with email address and telephone number, Federal Cage Code, Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS), and business size. Your company must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM). To register, go to https://www.sam.gov. b. A Statement of Capabilities demonstrating the skills, experience, knowledge, and capabilities necessary to perform the work specified within the summary of requirements outlined above. Please limit your relevant past performance to the past three (3) years and include the Contract Number(s) or Customer/Company Name. c. Capability package responses shall be sent via email to dawn.graham.3@us.af.mil. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Paper copies of this announcement will not be provided. Any information received will be used solely for the purpose of market research.
