U.S. GOVERNMENT seeks to lease the following office space through the Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP): State: Kentucky City: Lexington Delineated Area: <img src="file:///C:/Temp/1/msohtmlclip1/01/clip_image002.jpg" alt="" width="392" height="252" /> Starting at the northwest extent and moving clockwise: 1. Intersection of McClelland Circle (460 Bypass) and Frankfort Pike (460) 2. East along Frankfort Pike/Paris Pike (460) to Newtown Pike (922) 3. South along Newtown Pike (922) to Iron Works Pike (1973) 4. Southeast along Iron Works Pike (1973) to Paris Pike (27) 5. Northeast along Paris Pike (27) to Muir Station Rd 6. Southeast along Muir Station Rd to Brian Hill Rd (57) 7. East along Brian Hill Rd/Austerlitz Rd (57) to Winchester Rd (627) 8. South along Winchester Rd/Paris Rd (57) to Belmont Ave (1927) 9. Parking is to be adjacent to the tenant office entrance with nineteen (19) reserved spaces for Government Owned Vehicles. This includes (7) spaces that will be used to parka 37' long electrical trailer and towing truck used by our Educational Field Staff during mine visits. 2. Sufficient parking for {13) tenant employees' vehicles, plus visitors and handicapped visitors. 3. Secured-type parking for the Government Owned Vehicles (GOVs) may be required. (Enclosure with 8 foot high chain link fence and automatic key card access gate.) 4. Lighting is required for the GOV parking area as well as the employees, visitor and handicapped parking area (dusk to dawn type lighting system}. 5. A second entrance to the office space with an overhang/awning at the entrance is required to protect the Inspectors from the elements when loading and unloading equipment from their GOVs. HOW TO OFFER: The Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP), located at https://aaap.gsa.gov, will enable interested parties to offer space for lease to the Federal Government in response to RLP 17-Reg 4. In addition, the Government will use its AAAP to satisfy the above space requirement. Interested parties must go to the AAAP website, select the “Register to Offer Space” link and follow the instructions to register. Instructional guides and video tutorials are offered on the AAAP homepage and in the “HELP” tab on the AAAP website. Once registered, interested parties may enter offers during any “Open Period”. The Open Period for October* is October 1, 2016 to October 20, 2016, ending at 11:59 p.m. EST. Lease award will be made to the lowest price, technically acceptable offer, without negotiations, based upon the RLP requirements package found on the AAAP website. During the Open Period, offerors will be permitted to submit new offers or modify existing offers. Offerors can draft an offer at any time; however, you can only submit an offer during the Open Period. The offered space must comply with RLP 17-Reg 4 and must meet Federal Government, State, and Local jurisdiction requirements, including requirements for fire and life safety, security, accessibility, seismic, energy, and sustainability standards in accordance with the terms of the Lease. All documents can be found at https://aaap.gsa.gov. * If you have previously submitted an offer in FY 2016, the AAAP application has a copy feature which will allow existing offers to be copied over to the FY 2017 RLP in order to avoid having to re-enter all of the data manually. Please be sure to review FY17 AAAP RLP Package and each page within the AAAP Application prior to submitting your offer as some of the questions have changed. You must re-enter your space and rates on the ‘Space and Rates’ tab in the AAAP. Your previous offered space will not be copied.
