- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND QUESTIONAIRE The project consists of the design and construction of a new Female Police Town (FPT) - Phase 1 for the Afghan National Police (ANP) in Kabul District, Kabul Province, Afghanistan. The project is defined as the design, material, labor, and equipment to construct buildings, parking, utilities and other infrastructure for a design population of approximately 300 Female Police Families. Design and construct visitor control center/security office, (1) Entry Control Points with Guard booths, (12) Guard towers, and (3) Family Housing Buildings. Supporting facilities consisting of walls, fencing, and gates, and infrastructure. Visitor Control Center/Security Office - The Visitor Control Center/Security Office will be located in a single story building. This building will include an office for security guards; visitor control waiting area, processing area with a private office; break room; communications room; two restrooms (one with western toilet and one with eastern toilet); janitor closet; and a utility room. The space allocation for this building is 216m2. The project, once fully designed and constructed will provide facilities to support 300 Female Police Families. This project is Phase I of four phases. Phase I primary facilities will consist of the Visitor Control Center/Security Office, one Entry Control Point with Guard Booths, Guard Towers, and three Family Housing Buildings. Supporting Facilities will consist of parking, roadways, and walkways, and electrical infrastructure for the entire compound, and water infrastructure as well as sanitary sewer collection system and septic tanks servicing Phase I buildings. Family Housing Buildings - The Family Housing Building is a 5-story building containing thirty housing units per building. Each building will consist of 10-three bedroom/two and one half-bathroom units and 20-two bedroom/one and one half-bathroom units. Each unit will contain laundry area for washer and dryer as well as storage space. In Phase I, floor plans will show space for two elevators but will not install any elevators until a later phase where they will install elevators in one building. Phase I includes three Family Housing Buildings with a total space allocation of 15,877m2. Guard Booths - The FP05 Guard Shack standard design was used as the design basis. Guard Towers - The FP04a Guard Tower standard design was used as the design basis.
